Government White Paper will stimulate environmental sector, says Go Green Investments.
A move in the right direction - that's how environmental financial experts Go Green Investments has described the government's White Paper outlining how the UK will migrate towards a low carbon economy.
Principal Julian Howes said: "Investors can take the government announcement as an indication of intent which will have a positive impact on the environmental sector and those organisations that are offering services or developing new technology.
"In recent years we have seen some of our European counterparts pick up the baton and set the pace for renewable energy and recycling. We're not exactly back there at the starting line but the UK does have a lot of catching up to do.
"The intentions and targets set out in the White Paper should act as a stimulus for a sector that is expected to grow in value and create much needed jobs."

Here we go! There's a new name in environmental investing and it's called Go Green Investments.
Go Green Investments is part of Graduate & Professional Financial Services, which has been providing independent financial advice from its Cotswolds base since the early 1990s.
The new arm of the company will use its expertise in advising clients on the range of opportunities in the growing environmental sector.
